Memorable. The room was cozy with a nice selection of beverages, but the outside noise during the night was a bit distracting. the staff were friendly and accommodating, which greatly enhanced our experience.

Exceptional stay with a lovely atmosphere
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in a cozy Classic Double Room with a lovely view of the garden. The staff were extremely attentive and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight with a wide selection of fresh ingredients, and the evening meals were just as impressive, especially the stunning steak and ale pie. The only downside was finding parking spaces nearby, but it was worth it for this delightful experience.

Amazing wedding vibes!
The atmosphere was on point, especially chilling in the garden the night before. The staff were super nice and made us feel welcome. The packed lunch options were a nice surprise. Only thing was, the room felt a bit on the small side for two people.

Spent two nights in a small double room which, though compact, was equipped with excellent amenities like fresh coffee and a hair dryer. Breakfast offered great variety, although the second day's order was incorrect. The beer garden had several lovely areas, perfect for relaxing. Dinner options were limited but included a delicious steak & ale pie, making for a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff.

What a fantastic little find! I stayed in a Classic Double Room with stunning views of the garden and priory. The room felt spacious, warm, and had great tea and coffee facilities. I loved the comfortable bed. absolutely no noise from downstairs. The food blew me away. I had the steak and ale pie again, and it was just as amazing as I remembered—possibly the best pie I've ever eaten. The mackerel croquettes were a delightful start, and my partner loved her chicken and gnocchi dish. The sticky toffee pudding was a perfect finish. The staff here are lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was a treat too, with excellent choices. The only little negatives were lack of hooks for wet coats and weak internet in room 1. No parking on-site also made things a bit tricky. Regardless, I can't wait to return!

Charming village setting enhances the experience, with scenic local attractions nearby. The room had unique low-beamed ceilings that gave it a cozy feel, complemented by the nice touches of loose leaf tea and quality toiletries.
The toilet seat in the bathroom was a thin, cracked plastic, which felt out of place in an otherwise charming setting. The light sensors in the bathroom drove us a bit mad, as they refused to turn off and contributed to a cluttered atmosphere. Breakfast could use some simplification. the sourdough bread served for toast was tough, making it difficult to enjoy a simple morning meal.

Amazing food and cozy stay!
Just spent a night here and it was fab! The room was super comfy and had loads of teas to choose from. Dinner was out of this world—had the steak and ale pie, and wow, best ever! Staff were so nice, but the bar area was a bit cramped during peak times. Really loved it!
